I am an Assistant Professor and Librarian at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Florida. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Boston University and my Master of Library Science from the University of South Florida. I have worked in libraries at Palm Beach State College and Florida Atlantic University. I enjoy reading books for all age groups, but I especially enjoy history books. I really enjoy teaching students, faculty, and staff about the research process. You can always ask me for help.
I teach LIS1002, LIS2004, and LIS2005; you can see the syllabi and other course materials here. Visit my profile page to check out the LibGuides I have created, follow me on social media to see the resources I enjoy using, or stop by the library to visit me in person.
I was awarded the Gladys Williams Wolf Endowed Teaching Chair in Communications on Monday, April 4, 2016. See below my proposal.
