All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join the River Readers book club. I am co-advisor of this club along with Mia Tignor. We try to read a variety of genres and allow the club members to pick what we read next. We like to watch the movie versions of novels after we read the book.
We also engage in community service. We collect box tops for education and have established a Little Free Library on campus. As stewards of the Little Free library we collect donated books to place inside. Anyone who visits the atrium in the Tomeu Center on main campus can take books from the Little Free library and donate unwanted books to it. Share the love of reading and literacy by removing barriers to text and adopting a Little Free library in your community!
If you are interested in finding out when we will have our next meeting, join us in River Life.
